"Normal" vision is around 20/20 or 20/30. Having 20/60 means that you need to be 20 feet away from an object rather than a "normal" person who can see that object at 60 feet. At 20/60 you should still be able to function with everyday life and only need glasses to drive or to read a blackboard at school. 20/60 is only a mild impairment.

20/30 to 20/60 is considered mild vision loss, or near-normal vision 20/70 to 20/160 is considered moderate visual impairment, or moderate low vision 20/200 to 20/400 is considered severe visual impairment, or severe low vision 20/500 to 20/1,000 is considered profound visual impairment, or profound low vision less than 20/1,000 is considered near-total visual impairment, or near total blindness
